“Walking and Living out Our Faith”

“Let’s honor those around us. Let’s ask God to help us see the value in others the way He sees the value in us.” – #ToddCPittman

Yep I Said It!

…and so did Ephesians 5:2 (NLT) – (2) Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.

“When I was probably 17 years old I remember reading the book ‘How To Eat To Live’ by Elijah Muhammad. Written as a guide to learn the right way to eat in order to live a long life, that book came to mind this morning when I came to Ephesians 5:2. The relationship between the two is no more than the book’s title simply because this scripture is a reminder to me of how to WALK to live. It’s a reminder for us all to walk in love and not in hatred and jealousy of those around us. It’s a reminder that the love for our spouses, children, and our mothers and fathers should be selfless and without consideration. We’ve got to have the same love for others that Christ has for us. Because of His love, He made a sacrifice for you and for me and we too should make sacrifices and offer unwavering support for those we love. It’s never too late to start walking in step with the Lord as opposed to following the shuffle of the world.” – #ToddCPittman
