“Stop Watering the Wrong Seed”

“Let’s not fall victim to believing repetitive nonsense. Folks will keep telling us ‘You can’t’ and ‘You’ll never’ and when we listen and believe it’s like watering a yard full of weeds.” – #ToddCPittman

Yep, I Said It!

…and so did 2 Corinthians 10:4 (NLT) – We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments.

“Just because we are in the midst of an outside battle with COVID-19 right now let’s not lose control of the continual internal battle in our minds. Look, most folks are smart enough to know that our thoughts dictate our actions and they will do whatever they can to get us thinking and moving in the opposite direction of where God wants us to go. When things aren’t going our way, let’s stop going to our friends to help work out our relationship issues, financial setbacks, or even health challenges. The devil is a master of disguise and he will have the most unlikely person telling us our significant other ain’t no good, we’ll never get out of our financial pit, and once a addict always an addict. Let’s not let those lies take a stronghold on our minds. Instead, let’s put our war clothes on, grab our sword, and work with the Lord to work things out! When we reject all negative thoughts we cut off the nourishment of negativity that prevents us from being all He wants us to be. So, let’s stop telling our business to everyone just because we hope that they will tell us what we want to hear.” – #ToddCPittman

  1. Hi Todd. Thank you for this insightful message. I also agree that seeking solutions to our problems by blabbing our business to others is a very unwise approach. Thank you for this helpful reminder that turning to our relationship with God during times of trouble is always our best bet!
