“The current COVID-19 environment has resulted in many of us working from home and on the flip side of that, it’s created the unfortunate circumstance that some of us aren’t working at all. Regardless of our situation our commonality in this environment is to remember that we need to take time daily to turn down the commotion of CNN, FOX, and the stories we pick up on Facebook, WorldStar, or wherever else we are spending our social distance time, and take a moment to tune out all the hysteria so we can have a conversation and hear God’s voice. For those of us at home let’s keep a comparison chart on how many times we change the channel, post some nonsense on social media, or watch a Netflix movie and compare it to how many times we pray today. Hear me out, it’s easy for us to get pulled into the sickness and casualties of today, but man oh man, we’ve got to stay on our toes because our enemy works overtime in times like these to drown out God’s voice. During these challenging, inconvenient, and difficult times let’s keep up our strength and relationship with God. For every time today that we change the TV channel and surf the net, let’s double that time to call out to Him and take value in His response. Let’s take a moment to turn down the noise and receive what He is saying to us.” – #ToddCPittman
