“We’ve got to protect our growth and change. When we see folks are not supportive of our dreams or the positive change in our lifestyle, we’ve got to re-evaluate the relationship.” – #ToddCPittman
Yep, I Said It!
…and so did Proverbs 11:14 (NIV) – 14 For lack of guidance a nation falls, but victory is won through many advisers.

“Most of us are familiar with Under Armour’s tag line ‘Protect This House.’ This morning Proverbs 11:14 serves as a spiritual vitamin to strengthen our immunity from those things and people who stunt our spiritual growth and invite us off the path of our destiny walk. The fact is everyone is not supportive of our aspirations, the lifestyle changes we want to make, or the time we want to commit to supporting our church community and strengthening our relationship with the Lord. We’ve got to surround ourselves with folks who are helping us grow spiritually, supportive of improving our health, and bring value to our intellectual conversations. Just as we need to take heed to God’s Word and promises, we need to surround ourselves with others that we can offer and receive wise advice that helps us respond to God’s guidance and not get off path and headed in the wrong direction. It’s like this, morality is contradicted by immortality, good is contradicted by evil, and wisdom is contradicted by foolishness. A-Yo, in these times of Social Distancing, let us also practice Contradictive Distancing and not let life’s contradictions bring us down. Protect This House!” – #ToddCPittman
