“He Showed Us. He Called Us. He Equipped Us.”

“Don’t put all promises in the same basket.Yes, we’ve all had promises broken, but God cannot lie and never failed to keep His word.” – #ToddCPittman

Yep, I Said It!

…and so did 2 Peter 1:4 (NIV) – 4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

“What a pleasant message the scriptures in 2 Peter 1:4 bring to remind us that although our success has been laid out for us we have to put in a little work. We’ve got to humble ourselves to admit the dirt we have done in the past, cut out the mess we’re doing now, and realize that God has shown us how to live. God has invited us to partner with Him on our destiny walk and He’s given us everything we need to succeed including His glory, His goodness, and His forgiveness! The bottom line is that He has wiped our slate clean and restocked our arsenal to battle all the mess around us that are trying to keep us from living a productive and prosperous life. No doubt, we all have human desires that have gotten us into trouble before, but God has promised that if we work to control those desires He will block the corruption they bring and instead of living in chaos, drama and disappointment we can take comfort in His promise of a life of eternal peace. Let’s receive what He has for us and put in some work because His promise cannot be broken.” – #ToddCPittman
