“No doubt, uphill battles are a part of this life. But while we are pushing those battles upward to reach the top, our God is right behind us pushing us up that same hill!” – #ToddCPittman
Yep, I Said It!
…and so did Matthew 11:28-29 (NIV) 28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

“Whether it’s a struggle with our faith, finances, family drama, health issues, or even addictions, we all have those times when we feel like things are just too much and we don’t think we are going to make it to the top of the mountain before us. This morning the scriptures in Matthew 11:28-29 reminded me of how much strength we really have. In fact, yesterday I attended service at the Channel of Grace Worship Center closer to my home in Harford County, MD and I was also reminded by Pastor Kenneth Harper of where that strength comes from. My studies and worship time lead me to the understanding that while we are pushing through what seems to be the hardest times of our lives we’ve got to remember that there is someone pushing us and that someone is our Father. We are not alone and if we believe that and turn to God, during those times He will help us push that anxiety up that hill. He will help us push that stress and that fear up that hill. And that support, that extra strength, gives us the opportunity to take a breath. It was declared at service yesterday that God is The Most High, The Almighty, our Fortress, and our Refuge. We’ve got to receive that declaration and during those uphill battles let’s turn away from weariness and turn to the One who is #Adequate4EverySituation!” – #ToddCPittman
