“In a crisis, we think we don’t have what we need. If we think we are lacking then we don’t understand what ‘need’ really is or that He will always provide.” – #ToddCPittman
Yep, I Said It!
…and so did Philippians 4:19 (NIV) – And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

“The scriptures remind us that regardless of our circumstances we can overcome our worriedness. When Paul thanked the Philippians for their generosity and shared his confidence that God will meet their needs, he wasn’t necessarily talking about a fat bank account or living a life of luxury, he was talking about the conceptual understanding that ‘needs’ are to be considered according to God’s will. So, when it comes to getting through our difficulties, battling our dependencies, or navigating through financial hardships and we feel we don’t have what we ’need’ to overcome our circumstances, let’s not get what we ‘need’ and what we ‘want’ twisted. Take it from one who was once the Materialistic King until I received that God tends to bless those when we use the resources we have according to His purpose. My, my, my, let’s stop getting mad at the world and making excuses for things not getting done, bills not getting paid, habits not being kicked and instead let’s assess our situation, ask the Lord for what we need, and keep our mind stayed on Jesus.” – #ToddCPittman
