…and so did 1 John 5:14-15 (NIV) -“14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.”
“It’s Day 6 of our 7-Day workout to condition ourselves to victory through hard times and I am so grateful for spiritual conditioning because between having the pure joy of spending time with family, meeting career demands, and having the honor to assist many friends in their endeavors, I have so much on my plate right now it seems like everything and everyone is hollering their wants and demands at the same time. But that’s all good because the scriptures remind us that we can turn down that noise, ask God to guide us through our circumstances according to His Will, and – guess what – it will be done because He has all power! Look here, when we have the fear of not meeting expectations, getting things done in a timely manner, or even not having the financial resources to meet our needs, let’s stop talking and listening to the world and have a conversation with the One who holds all power. Unlike so-called friends, and sometimes even friends, God is listening to us at all times even when we are full of doubt. So, let’s put our conversations with Him first, ask Him to direct us and help us to prioritize in alignment with His Will, and watch the burden of pressures be released.” – #ToddCPittman
