Strength Through Hard Times: Day 2

“God’s love is a consistent energy supply. There’s no on and off switch. God’s love is stronger than any challenges we face.” – #ToddCPittman

Yep, I Said It!

…and so did Galatians 6:9 (NLT) “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”

“Good deal! We made it to Day 2 of our 7 Day workout to strengthen ourselves to endure and prepare for hard times. The scriptures remind us today that just because we mess up God doesn’t love us any less. When we make a mistake that puts us in a jacked-up situation, we can’t get down on ourselves. No way my friend! What we have to do is lean on the strongest thing in our lives and that’s GOD’S CONSISTENT LOVE! That means telling ourselves that there is no lie we can tell, no law we can break, no drug we can abuse, and no simple mistake we can make that will change God’s immense love for us. We can’t worry about what others think about us and what they say during hard times. When things get tough we don’t need to lean on anyone that does not know God because if they don’t know Him, they can’t know us. So during our challenging circumstances let’s avoid the pity parties, stop playing the blame game, and let’s pick ourselves up and remember God’s love is not superficial but a consistent source of internal strength. When we learn from our mistakes and take cover in His love during our storms it is my testimony He will bring joy where there is pain.” – #ToddCPittman
