…and so did Romans 10:17 (NKJV) – “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
“We may want to believe in God’s promises for our lives, but no matter how strong our faith it seems doubt always seems to creep in. The scriptures this morning reminded me that the key to defeating doubt is with doubt. In other words, let’s doubt that irrational voice of doubt and instead let’s have confidence in hearing God’s Word. Check this out – I have a member of my wonderful MARC Commuter Train family who can recite a Migos rap tune with enthusiasm, energy, and without doubt he believes every word coming out his mouth is lyrically correct. Man, imagine if we took in the scriptures with that same enthusiasm and without doubt that every verse was spiritually correct! Look man, when we are hungry we eat. When we are sick we seek medicine – and we do it all without doubt! So without a doubt let’s remind each other that God’s Promises are nourishment for our growth and medicine for our souls. So let’s doubt the doubter and surrender to the Lord with confidence our issues, problems, and fears. Believe me, its the doubt that clouds our clarity to peace and blurs our vision for prosperity!” – #ToddCPittman
