“Peace and Joy Is a Gift”

“Each day we rise is a gift of peace and joy. We can open that gift and enjoy it or leave it in a box to be stolen.” – #ToddCPittman

Yep, I Said It!

…and so did Psalm 90:12 (NKJV) – “So teach us to number our days, That we may gain a heart of wisdom.”

“My, my, my, it’s 3:30 am raining, cold, and once again I’m getting ready to face the commute and grind of Washington, D.C. and guess what…IT’S A GREAT DAY TO BE ALIVE! Every day we rise it’s a gift from God that includes peace and joy. What we do with that gift is up to us. We can choose to receive it with faith and gratitude or we can choose to reject it with doubt and joylessness. The scriptures remind us that if we choose to turn away our daily special gift, there are plenty of ways the enemy will creep in and steal our peace and joy, and man I used to get robbed daily! So, believe me, the next time that driver cuts us off or our co-workers aren’t pulling their weight, let’s remember how fragile life is and instead of cussin’ folks out, let’s open that gift of peace and joy. Remember, it’s a gift from God and once we receive it with faith and gratitude NOBODY can take it away! So let’s choose to focus on the blessings of each and every moment today instead of allowing those little things to steal our peace and joy. Ayo, I’m tryin’ to tell yah, IT’S A GREAT DAY TO BE ALIVE!” – #ToddCPittman
