“Just Leave It Where We Left It or Where It Left Us”

“We have to stop reaching for things behind us and instead grab what’s in front of us.” – #ToddCPittman

Yep, I Said It!

…and so did Philippians 3:13 (NKJV) – “Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,”

“Too often we waste time and energy trying to hold onto things instead of leaving them right where they are. I’m talking about disappointments and setbacks. Got passed over for a job, LEAVE IT THERE! Prayed hard for someone’s health, but they’ve gone home to be with the Lord, LEAVE IT THERE! Worked hard to save your marriage or relationship but it is no more, LEAVE IT THERE! There’s a fishing term called ‘Catch & Release.’ Let’s start living by a new spiritual term we’ll call ‘Experience & Release.” Don’t think about it, don’t dwell on it, STOP TRYING TO FIGURE IT OUT! If we really trust in the Lord then when things don’t go our way we will be without bitterness, resentment, or hosting a pity party and know He allows everything for a reason. Let’s leave what’s behind and start using our valuable time to ask Him to let us experience and release. There is so much in front of us! Let’s ask Him for the restoration of our circumstances. Hey, When we go to Him for deliverance, deliverance we will truly receive.” – #ToddCPittman
