“If we want consistent answers to our prayers, then His Word must consistently live in us.” – #ToddCPittman
Yep, I Said It!
…and so did John 15:7 (NKJV) If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

“I believe there are at least 10 verses in the bible where ‘hallowed’ is mentioned. To hallow is to honor as glory, and I have no doubt that prayer was brought to us to glorify God. You see, when we pray and our needs are met, God gets the glory since we asked and He answered. But let’s be logical, prayer is not just for us to gratify our natural desires. Nah man, we’ve got to understand that our prayers for our natural desires (protection, marriage, wellness, etc.) should be secondary to our prayers for our spiritual desires (being God-centered, sharing God’s Word, etc.). We can’t keep saying to ourselves that God is not answering our prayers if our relationship with Him is one-sided and based on putting the fulfillment of our desires over the fulfillment of living in accordance with His Will for our lives. It’s like this: The more saturated we are with His Word – in other words, the more we live our lives according to His Will – then the more our prayers will be answered.”- #ToddCPittman
